Terms of Service

Welcome to VETT (vettit.ai). These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the VETT platform and services (the "Service"). By creating an account or using VETT, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Service.

1. About VETT

VETT is an AI-powered synthetic market research platform that generates AI personas to provide research insights. The Service is operated by Jamil Kabbara, based in the United Arab Emirates.

2. Eligibility

To use VETT, you must:

  • Be at least 18 years old
  • Have the legal capacity to enter into a binding contract
  • Not be barred from using the Service under applicable law
  • Provide accurate registration information

If you are using VETT on behalf of a company or organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that entity to these Terms.

3. Account Registration

You must create an account to use VETT. You agree to:

  • Provide accurate, current, and complete information
  • Maintain and update your information as needed
  • Keep your password secure and confidential
  • Notify us immediately of any unauthorized account access
  • Be responsible for all activity under your account

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

4. Service Description

4.1 What VETT Provides

VETT generates AI-modeled synthetic personas to deliver market research insights based on your inputs. The Service includes:

  • Research types: Validate Product, Compare Concepts, Test Marketing/Ads, Customer Satisfaction, Pricing Research, Feature Roadmap, General Research, Competitor Analysis, Audience Profiling, Naming & Messaging, Market Entry, Churn Research, Brand Lift Study, Creative Attention Analysis
  • Mission sizes from 5 to 1,250 respondents self-serve, priced as set out in Section 5.1. Larger studies are available as a managed engagement on request
  • AI-generated synthetic personas across 190+ countries
  • AI synthesis: insights, contradictions, cross-segment analysis
  • Multi-format exports: PDF, PPTX and XLSX for every study; Creative Attention adds CSV and JSON

4.2 Important Limitations

Synthetic data is not real human research. VETT's outputs are AI-generated approximations of how target audiences might respond. Results are directional and should not be treated as legally defensible quantitative research from real human panels.

For high-stakes decisions (legal, regulatory, medical), we recommend supplementing VETT with traditional human-panel research before launch.

5. Pricing and Payment

5.1 Pricing

Current pricing is published at vettit.ai. Prices are in USD and subject to change with 30 days' notice for active subscribers.

Respondent-based missions. Most research types (Validate Product, Compare Concepts, Test Marketing/Ads, Customer Satisfaction, Pricing Research, Feature Roadmap, General Research, Competitor Analysis, Audience Profiling, Naming and Messaging, Market Entry, Churn Research) are priced by respondent count:

  • Sniff Test, 5 respondents: $9
  • Validate, 25 respondents: $39
  • Confidence, 100 respondents: $149
  • Deep Dive, 250 respondents: $299
  • Scale, 500 respondents: $499
  • Growth, 1,000 respondents: $899
  • Enterprise, 1,250 respondents: $1,099
  • Beyond 1,250 respondents: not sold self-serve; contact us for a custom quote

Brand Lift Study missions use a separate ladder and require a minimum of 100 respondents, the point at which the exposed and control cells can carry a comparison:

  • Pulse, 100 respondents: $150
  • Tracker, 200 respondents: $300
  • Wave, 500 respondents: $600
  • Enterprise, 2,000+ respondents: custom quote (managed engagement)
  • Self-serve Brand Lift studies run up to 1,250 respondents ($938 at 1,250); larger studies are a managed engagement, quoted on request

Creative Attention Analysis missions are charged a flat price per creative, by media type. One creative per mission; respondent count is not an input and does not change the price:

  • Image: $19
  • Video: $49

Respondent counts other than the ones listed above are priced from the same ladders. Optional add-ons are charged on top of the mission price: each research question beyond the first 10 costs $5, and city targeting, professional targeting, technographic targeting, financial targeting and screener questions each add a per-respondent surcharge. The exact total for your mission is always shown at checkout before you pay.

5.2 Payment

  • Payments are processed via Stripe
  • You authorize VETT to charge your payment method for missions you initiate
  • Failed payments may result in service suspension

5.3 Refunds & Delivery

VETT does not issue cash refunds. Where something goes wrong on our side, our remedy is to re-run your mission or issue a re-run credit, at our discretion. This is set out in full in our Refund Policy, which governs; this section summarises it.

Missions are delivered on a best-effort basis: we recruit synthetic respondents that match the targeting and screener you configure. If your screener criteria are too strict for the audience we can reach within the margin we budget for your mission, you will receive a partial delivery of however many respondents qualified. The synthesized insights will be honest about the limited sample size.

The following are not eligible for a cash refund. Where the cause is a VETT-side fault, the re-run or credit remedy above may apply instead:

  • Partial deliveries due to strict screener criteria
  • Missions where the AI synthesis result didn't meet expectations
  • Missions where the customer's brief was ambiguous or incomplete
  • Missions that completed successfully but the customer changed their mind after launch

Before launching a mission, please review your brief, screener, and targeting carefully. Once a mission is launched (paid), recruitment begins immediately and the charge is final, subject to the re-run remedy above.

5.4 Taxes

You are responsible for any applicable taxes (VAT, sales tax, etc.) based on your jurisdiction. VETT may collect taxes where required by law.

6. Acceptable Use

6.1 You May:

  • Use VETT for lawful business and research purposes
  • Run missions for any product, service, or topic that is legal
  • Export and share results within your organization
  • Use insights from VETT in your business decisions

6.2 You May NOT:

  • Use VETT to harass, defame, or harm individuals or groups
  • Run missions related to illegal activities (drugs, weapons, fraud, etc.)
  • Generate research about specific real, named individuals without their consent
  • Use VETT to create deceptive content (fake reviews, manipulated testimonials)
  • Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract source code
  • Resell or sublicense the Service without written authorization
  • Submit malicious content (malware, spam, phishing material)
  • Violate intellectual property rights of others
  • Attempt to circumvent rate limits, payment requirements, or security measures
  • Use the Service to compete with VETT (build a competing AI research platform)

Violations may result in immediate suspension and forfeiture of paid balances.

7. Intellectual Property

7.1 VETT's IP

The Service, including its software, design, branding, and AI models, is owned by VETT and protected by intellectual property laws. You receive a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Service for its intended purpose.

7.2 Your Content

You retain ownership of:

  • Mission inputs (research questions, screeners)
  • Creative assets you upload (images, videos)
  • Insights you derive from VETT outputs

By uploading content, you grant VETT a license to process it solely to provide the Service.

7.3 Generated Outputs

Synthetic personas, AI synthesis, and reports generated for your missions are yours to use commercially within your organization. You may share them with clients, investors, and partners.

You may not:

  • Claim VETT outputs are real human research
  • Sell or license raw VETT outputs as standalone research products
  • Use outputs to train competing AI models

8. Confidentiality

VETT treats your mission inputs as confidential. We do not share, sell, or use your inputs to train AI models. See our Privacy Policy for details.

9. Service Availability

VETT strives for high uptime but does not guarantee uninterrupted access. The Service may be unavailable due to:

  • Scheduled maintenance (we'll notify in advance when possible)
  • Unscheduled outages, technical issues, or third-party service failures
  • Force majeure events (natural disasters, internet failures, etc.)

We are not liable for losses resulting from Service unavailability.

10. Termination

10.1 By You

You may terminate your account at any time by emailing support@vettit.ai or using the account deletion feature. Termination does not refund prepaid amounts unless covered by our Refund Policy.

10.2 By Us

We may suspend or terminate your account if you:

  • Violate these Terms
  • Fail to pay fees
  • Engage in fraudulent or illegal activity
  • Pose a security risk to other users

Upon termination, your access ends immediately. We may retain certain data as outlined in our Privacy Policy.

11. Disclaimers

11.1 "AS IS" Service

VETT IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE." WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

11.2 No Guarantee of Results

VETT outputs are AI-generated approximations. We do not guarantee:

  • Accuracy of synthetic personas
  • Predictive validity of insights
  • Suitability for specific business decisions
  • Compliance with industry-specific research standards

You are responsible for evaluating and applying VETT outputs.

12. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW:

  • VETT'S TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM IS LIMITED TO THE AMOUNT YOU PAID FOR THE SERVICE IN THE 12 MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM
  • VETT IS NOT LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, CONSEQUENTIAL, INCIDENTAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES (LOST PROFITS, LOST DATA, BUSINESS INTERRUPTION)
  • VETT IS NOT LIABLE FOR DECISIONS MADE BASED ON SYNTHETIC RESEARCH OUTPUTS

Some jurisdictions do not allow limitation of liability for certain damages; in such cases, our liability is limited to the maximum extent permitted by law.

13. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold VETT harmless from claims, damages, or expenses arising from:

  • Your use of the Service
  • Your violation of these Terms
  • Your violation of third-party rights
  • Content you upload or generate via the Service

14. Modifications to Terms

We may update these Terms periodically. Material changes will be communicated via email or website notice. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance. If you disagree, you may terminate your account.

15. Governing Law and Disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates. Any disputes will be resolved exclusively in the courts of Dubai, UAE, unless required otherwise by applicable law.

For users in jurisdictions with mandatory consumer protection laws, those laws apply where required.

16. Mobile App (vett-mobile, when shipped)

The VETT mobile app on iOS and Android is governed by these same Terms. Additional mobile-specific clauses:

  • No subscriptions, no in-app purchases: All payments process via Stripe Checkout (web view). The app does not use Apple's In-App Purchase or Google's Play Billing. We do not auto-renew anything.
  • Push notifications are opt-in: You explicitly grant permission. Revoke any time via your device's notification settings.
  • 18+ requirement applies: The mobile app is intended for adult users. The App Store / Play Store rating reflects this exactly.
  • App Store / Play Store EULA: Where the platform's standard EULA applies (Apple Media Services Terms, Google Play Terms), those terms govern your relationship with the platform; these VETT Terms govern your relationship with VETT.
  • Refund Policy applies: Our Refund Policy governs mobile payments exactly as it governs web payments.

17. Miscellaneous

  • Entire Agreement: These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy and Refund Policy, constitute the complete agreement between you and VETT.
  • Severability: If any provision is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in effect.
  • No Waiver: Failure to enforce a provision does not waive our right to enforce it later.
  • Assignment: You may not assign these Terms without our consent. We may assign our rights and obligations.
  • Force Majeure: Neither party is liable for delays due to events beyond reasonable control.
